How much does it cost to go scuba diving in Pattaya?

The price for scuba diving in Pattaya tends to vary a lot from one dive shop to another. While some  shops try to maintain high costs for scuba diving customers, our company has significantly reduced prices because of the current crisis. At the moment there are special packages for multi-day diving, and great packages available for combining Open Water and Advanced Open Water certification, among others. We have also retained our best instructors and acquired some more highly experienced staff.

Is it cheaper to go scuba diving in Koh Tao or Pattaya?

Divers will also find that, while in other locations such as Koh Tao the price for scuba diving will be a little lower, the money spent on travelling and accomodation easily outweighs any saving made. Add to that the fact that everything on an island is more expensive than on the mainland, and you can easily calculate that it costs a lot less to go scuba diving in Pattaya. Learning scuba diving in Pattaya is also more effective because of the variable conditions and mild to strong currents, which make students better divers.

Is it better to go scuba diving in Pattaya or Koh Tao?

As well as saving money on accomodation and travel compared to Koh Tao and other islands, our staff are highly trained and efficient at maintaining safety for all divers and passengers. The experience of our instructors in dealing with the varying conditions of scuba diving in Pattaya and Samaesan means that our staff are able to teach and lead divers in any conditions, with the added benefit for students of having experienced currents that are usually absent from places such as Koh Tao. This gives divers the opportunity to experience real drift diving around the Pattaya and Samaesan islands.

Can I go scuba diving in Bangkok?

There is no open water diving in Bangkok, so most scuba divers living or travelling through Thailand’s capital city take an early morning bus to Pattaya, or stay overnight. They have found that the coral and wreck diving in Pattaya area is of very high quality. The location is so convenient that they would rather spend a couple of hours at the weekend or during a busy holiday schedule travelling to Pattaya than take several hours or even a whole day travelling to Koh Chang or Koh Tao. These places are fantastic in their own right, but cannot compare to Pattaya for convenience, saved money or saved time.
